So... I'm newly engaged and I'm going to be DIYing a LOT of my wedding. I'm planning to make my own wedding cake topper out of polymer clay, but I have no idea where to begin. Anyone have any ideas?

So...does anyone know how to create chainmaille, or at least something that can appear as chainmaille for a small character charm made out of polymer clay? I'm planning to make a knight out of polymer clay and I know how to make the chainmaille from little rings from the jewelry department, but that is very time consuming so I was wondering if anyone knew of a quicker way to do it.
Any help will be appreciated!!
